Desafios para o comprador internacional

A intensificação das relações de comércio internacional tem modificado a atuação e a importância estratégica do profissional da área de compras internacional. O objetivo desse estudo é identificar os fatores determinantes para a performance do comprador de bens e serviços provenientes de fora do Brasil, além disso, quais são as maiores dificuldades encontradas e quais são os fatores críticos de sucesso. Para tanto se realizou um estudo descritivo com abordagem quantitativa, no qual se analisaram 55 questionários com auxílio de ferramentas de análise estatística descritiva e cruzamento de dados. Por meio dos resultados obtidos, foi possível verificar que, conhecimento em idiomas, habilidade de negociação, conhecimento técnico, comunicação interpessoal, capacidade analítica e ética são as principais características que devem compor as habilidades do comprador/negociador internacional. Além dessas características, o estudo revelou dificuldades durante as negociações devido a diferenças culturais e a dificuldades do idioma.
